Highly interesting, Dave.. But--considering item 2,
changes in altitude. Is it a change in altitude between the straight
flight out/back? Or altitude changes only DURING the straight flight
back, (or out) as is described in the straight flight out. This would
suggest the puzzling phenomena mentioned by John Ferrell, which would definitely
suggest a connection between all three maneuvers; Straight flight out, half
Cuban, Straight flight back. Only "chaining" of maneuvers I can think of,
offhand. And, of all places, in the Sportsman class! I would suggest
to the folks, that the same line could be construed as a plan view, inasmuch as
the path is considered. Whether or not it is, is open to question, in my
mind. Obviously, once the straight flight out or back from the
beginning of the line is considered, any wandering in any axis is a
downgrade. Just trying to get it correct, and make sense of it.

different about the Sportsman turnarounds (i.e. you CAN enter

I

> think

> I remember a lot of agreement in previous discussions about the

> problem resulting in the conclusion that maneuver # 3 and=2

> 0# 8 needed

> to be switched to alleviate the cramping issue. There is no size difference between the 1/2 Cuban and

> the

> 1/2 Reverse Cuban. What was

> probably needed was something like a Humpty.

> Regarding

> the roll rate issue. I'm glad that Matt referenced that as I

> was going

> to offer the three rolls in 5 seconds, but refrained as it's

> too

> vague and would be quickly challenged. I don't know

how the

> legislative process could be achieved on that one.

> My feeling,

> and it's only a feeling on the Cuban with 2 of 4 is similar

> to my stand on the triangle with the roll across the top i.e.

> presentable centering.
