The guy that did ours for some reason chose not to use HDMI although every component was capable. Wife had it installed as a gift so I came home to a giant TV which was cool.</DIV>

With the plain vga connector I can't get a full screen or the higher resolutions. With the HDMI input from tthe DVI output of the video card (some cards have hdmi output) you can get the higher resolutions and full screen. You will probably need a USB extension cord from your transmitter to be able to stand in front of the monitor though.
