A couple of choices.<br>

I hate the cold weather and will not go out to fly if I need a heavy
jacket and gloves. Some people go out in anything but I prefer the
warmth. Probably why I am not as practiced as my competition.<br>
Indoor flying is nice if you can find a big enough gym. I am lucky to
have two local clubs that each fly once a month in a big gym. The
ceiling is too low in both but it is still fun to fly and keeps your
fingers working. Any of the real light F3P planes built under 5 oz or
so are fun to fly and very aerobatic.<br>

Like most I have a sim or 2 or 3. I just added a 52 inch LCD TV in our
"game room" that is 1080P compliant. You can run the sim with a good
video card at 1920X1400 or somewhere around there. With a USB
extension cord you can stand in front of the TV and fly. Not as good
as the real thing but better than a small computer screen.<br>
