I have tried many methods to measure incidence and throws. Several
work and are accurate including the basic measure up from the table. I
had been using modified Robart bars to hold a smart level module (which
works very well). I have 4 bars, 2 long ones for the wings and 2
regular for the stabs. I still use the bars to hold the Aeroperfect
module. I tried the hanger 9 meter as it was small and reasonably
priced, but my unit was worthless. Repeat measurements were always
off. <br>
If the Aeroperfect meter is in your price range then I would go for
it. <br>

didn't see any responses. I have the prior version of the aeroperfect
meter. Single axis and accurate to .05 degrees I think. I like it a
lot. The most accurate meter I have used for incidence and surface
deflection. It is not a level. Surfaces can be compared to each other
or a table surface but it does not check for being level. Readings are
very repeatable. It would be nice if the sensing unit were a little
lighter when attaching to movable surfaces. <br>
Mine has the display with it. Not sure it can hook up to a laptop as
the new one does. <br>
