<BODY lang=EN-US vLink=blue link=blue bgColor=#ffffff>
<DIV><FONT size=2>The X9303 from JR is an extremely capable system for pattern
flying. The gimbals are very good. They are the same gimbals as in the 10X. The
DSM2 system in the 9303 system is 2048 and has extremely fast response. This is
to say the latency (finger to servo) speed is extremely fast. In fact I think I
have heard numbers that is the fastest connection on the Spread Spektrum market.
Don't quote me on that...Its fast, I can feel the speed difference in snaps and
small little corrections using the X9303.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>The 9303 has many if not all of the features that we use in
pattern models. It has 2 throttle curves, 6 program mixes, with 2 of those being
curve type mixes. With the built in function of Servo Mate to allow dual
elevator servos, flapperon, dual flap servos...dual any channel all without
using your program mixes to link these functions. In the twin engine mode you
can set throttle curves independently for each engine and so on. Its pretty cool
there.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>As for Pattern flying there is nothing the 9303 lacks for in
terms of functions we normally use in pattern. It has 3 flight modes capable.
The big difference is the 10X has 5 flight modes capable. Most of use are not
using these modes so its not a big deal. The 10X also has 8 Program mixes with 3
of them being curves. The extra curve mixing is nice....but I rarely use it in
normal situations. The 10X has a little more flexibility in the switch
assignments for the flight modes....but that's about it. If flexible switch
assignments are important to you and you are look at a higher end radio like the
Futaba 12FG...I would wait just a few weeks for the 12X...I have seen some
of the capability and its really awesome how they made the flexibility so simple
and easy to setup. Its going to go to the next level. Its really cool. I think
the current plan is mid may for the 12X That's just in the next
month.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>To sum it up the X9303 on DSM is probably is a at price point
where WOW you really get an awesome value for the money. Oh the 9303 also
30model memory too.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I have been flying between the 9303 2.4 and the 10X on
DSM module...I like the x9303 on DSM better for the snaps.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Jerry Plyler (Jenny's Dad) came out in February and flew
the new Focus Sport with the X9303 in it and has been talking about it ever
since. He has the 72mhz 9303 and likes it too, but he felt like the DSM felt
better. He was going from flying his Hydeout on the 72mhz version 9303 to
the Focus Sport on the X9303 with DSM and just thought the model was better
connected. The faster response, and the 2048 resolution made the model feel
tighter. He has been considering getting the new radio to replace his 1 yr old
regular 9303.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I was using the 10X mostly for the Bipes but now I found a
cool way to do the bipes in the 9303 with the Servo Mate function and I'm
setting up my Adventure Bipe in the X9303 probably this weekend.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Its a very good radio for the pattern world. Not to mention
the Free RX deal is a really good too. The 9303 will not leave you wanting more
radio. I have yet to find something it doesn't do really well with the pattern
models. I was staying away from it on the Bipes because I was not sure how it
would do the 4 aileron servos and they were already setup in the 10X TX's. Well
its easier to do than on the 10X</FONT></DIV>
