On the way to the field, how do you deal with transporting charged Lipos, or

get a possibly damaged Lipo back home?

Putting it in a bunker/pot/ammo can/Lippo Sack is probably a good idea.

The sack is easiest to carry around. But, it's not quite big enough for some of

pattern batteries with long shape configuration. Several months ago I asked the

Lippo sack guy about a bigger sack. He said one was in consideration,

but no specific plan.

I've been using a Battery Bunker for a year or two now. They have a couple sizes and it seems to work quite well. I've not had a battery puff in it however. Price is good but it is bulky to travel with.

http://www.batterybunker.com/

> From: lightfoot@sc.rr.com
> To: nsrca-discussion@lists.nsrca.org
> Date: Thu, 10 Apr 2008 09:59:52 -0400
> Subject: Re: [NSRCA-discussion] Lipo Sacks
>
> I use a large coffee tin with sand inside.
>
> Jay Marshall
>
> -----Original Message-----
> From: nsrca-discussion-bounces@lists.nsrca.org
> [mailto:nsrca-discussion-bounces@lists.nsrca.org] On Behalf Of Ron Van Putte
> Sent: Thursday, April 10, 2008 9:16 AM
> To: NSRCA Mailing List
> Subject: Re: [NSRCA-discussion] Lipo Sacks
>
> I use a big ceramic flower pot in which to charge my batteries.
