<body class='hmmessage'>I don't ever fly off pavement... I should have mentioned, however, that I always use about as big <BR>
a wheel as I can fit in the wheel pant. That helps immensely with flying off rough or thick grass....<BR>
Looking at my planes, I can see that there is at least 1/3 of the wheel sticking out of the pant.<BR>
I just put 2 1/2" wheels in my Twister pants... They fit pretty nicely, with about 3/4" of tire sticking<BR>
out below the bottom of the pant.<BR>

Wow, you guys must fly from pavement! If I don't support the pants at both ends of the axle they will never last and at $50 a pair they are not something I can call disposable.<BR> Picture something like the link below but the outer piece is larger and glued to the outside of the pant to capture the end of the axle. This greatly reduces pant flex and prevents cracking.<BR> <BR>Anthony<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>
