Be sure to try it first flying a foamie or trainer or simulator. When I first tried it I nearly lost the plane because I couldn't get used to the new wrist angle (on top of the transmitter instead of to the sides). I now use the Big Stix from 3dhobbyshop.com and that helps a lot.
I'm going to try flying with a transmitter tray for the first time. I'm willing to build one, but in the interest of time, might just buy a pre-fab. Any recomendations on a good tray to buy or a design to build one from? Also, I want to minimize metal parts in the tray.
