<body class='hmmessage'><div style="text-align: left;">Pretty standard arrangement actually. Not a lot of load on that 4-40 bolt, the most important thing is that it stays in place. Over time the thread in the thin wing tube will wear but you can just rotate the tube and re-drill. Most usually glue a small block of wood or piece of PVC inside the tube to hold threads or catch a blind nut. <br>If it makes you feel better you could add a bolt through that leading edge hole. Just make sure it stays in. <div>The aluminum center tube is tapped for a 4-40 bolt about 8 inches out from the fuse on both sides. Once the wing halfs are slid onto the tube, theses 4-40 bolts are inserted through the top of the wing.</div>

<div>There is a hole in the fuse at the leading edge of the wing and a corresponcding (plywood reinforced) hole in each wing half. However, there isn't any hardware associated with these attachment points. I think something is ovbviously missing and would appreciate it if anyone with "Eclipse" experience could help me out.</div>
