there was someplace that one could just sign-up to be a judge. I'd have to check
back on my registration form. I know that there have been judges in the past
that have just judged the FAI finals. Adding the semifinalists to the Masters
and dedicated judges could help if there are any shortages of judges during the
finals.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

chairs for both the F3A and Masters Final. If the F3A semifinalists really
wanted to judge they should step forward and be counted....that would make
the Chief Judge's job a heck of a lot easier. But these folks should
understand that an assignment might be the Masters Final OR the F3A
Final.</DIV>

already fly the sequence, as Jason points out, should have the

feel an Fai pilot is just as capable as any other pilot to judge his own
class. Also an Fai pilot could be just as objective as and other judge. I
only say this as Masters judges could also be a lesser judge for the
competition if their team member is flying against a rival. Not saying it
happens, but it could. I haven't attended a nats yet, so I don't know how
the judging is. Just my opinion, I know you've been there many times Derek.
