field I just pulled the spinner cone and hold the Robart head against the
spinner back plate. The side of the measuring head is quite square to the bar

way to measure thrust line relative to wing is to bend an L shaped
piece out of aluminum strap to attach to the motor. The plane does
not need to be level to measure. Use a Sullivan and/or a Robart
meter to measure the wing incidence, then "sit" on top of the prop bracket and
measure the down thrust.</SPAN></FONT><FONT color=black><SPAN
style="COLOR: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
