My only worry is that the 18.1x10 is a little much as i'm only running 25%
fuel. I've seen the 18.1x10 on the 170DZ and it sure is awsome but it seemed to
have a fair bit of extra power over the 160.........maybe because it was using
the 18.1x10!!!

One more thing. Is there anywhere from Hong Kong that anyone is buying
these props? I in the land of OZ and am not to sure if APC
will ship here.

Thanks heaps
As for landing, I use an airbrake condition - about 35 to 40% on up aileron and
between 8 to 10% on down elevator. Even on very gusty cross wind, you still get
good control for landing.

<NSRCA-DISCUSSION@LISTS.NSRCA.ORG>Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] YS 160DZ prop choice?

Hey All,

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on prop choice for a YS 160
DZ along with a theory to match that chioce?

At the moment im running an APC 16x12 pattern, on a VERY slipery
F3A model, i'm really wanting to slow everything down espesially on
the down lines and also want to try to get it to slow for landing as i
tend to have a rocket on my hands at the end of each flight ( i havnt
learned to side slip........ yet) but im not to interested in going to a
four blader if possible.

Any help would be appreciated

Nath
