still do on my home recording gear). There are guys that I have met that could
hear an anomaly in an audio fader that I needed test gear to see. My point is we
all have a certain threshold of what we can experience and I agree that
technology will surpass what our ears can differentiate. </FONT></DIV>

and rise/fall time degradation are the keys. I would argue that if technology
doesn't exist today in digital (that is superior to the best analog), it will
exist some time in the future. And you are right about ear response. Of
course, tinnitis has settled in mine so it doesn't make a hill of beans
difference to me.</DIV>
