<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Here is a preliminary finding...Considering the fact that I probably skewed the results by stirring the mixture to keep it incorporated, and the 5 minute epoxy mixture I used has only been curing for about 60 minutes, I found no detectable loss of weight on a Pelouze PS20DL digital postal scale. I will try to attach a pic of the weight of the cup, stir stick and mixture. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>OK, I'll take a stab. After the alcohol evaporates you would have the same mass or weight of epoxy that you started with. AND to reiterate what I learned from the Master Fowler, thinning epoxy, if I remember right, changes the molecular structure weakening the mixture. It will also cause the epoxy to shrink over time.
