pieces before you glue them onto the wing/aileron…about 8 degrees on each
face for the ailerons. To do this, assuming you’re using ¼”
material, cut a strip 1 ¾” wide and sand the taper until you have
triangle stock…it’s easy if you protect the ¼” side with a
straight edge and use a table edge to sand down to. (I hope this makes sense!)<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

need to install these pieces so that the overhang on top surface stays constant.
In other words, don’t center the bay face on both the inboard and
outboard sides because this will create a very large gap out toward the tip when
you try to match up the aileron!<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

you use ¼” balsa to face the aileron bay, you want a ¼” of material
all the way across the top; you don’t want that to taper down to
something less that 1/4”. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

angled down slightly, maybe 15 degrees. Make yourself up a little guide that
will place the slot about 1/8” below the top and establish the angle then
cut the slots. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

required to get full up deflection and you’re done. (Actually you should
be able to easily go 90 degrees up deflection with this method, which makes
sealing the gap from the bottom much easier!) <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
