<DIV>The "Florida Vintage Pattern Association a newly formed SPA Chapter is planning to have a contest on December 7, 2007 This is the Friday prior to the Tangerine Pattern Contest.</DIV>
<DIV>We, the elected officials are seriously considering holding a contest which includes SPA legal airplanes and Ballistic airplanes or as we call them "Historic" airplanes at the RCACF field in Apopka, Florida (Home of the Tangerine Contests). <BR><BR>The event will be a one day event to be held on Friday December 7, 2007 (the day before the Tangerine Pattern Contest). Since many of you are coming to the Tangerine Pattern contest, bring along your SPA/BPA type airplane and come down one day earlier to participate in another part of the famous Tangerine Pattern Contests. <BR><BR>The reason for this notice is to inquire if this time frame would be acceptable and if you would support such an event and would it do harm to the turn-out of the Tangerine Patten contest on December 8, 9, 2007. </DIV>
<DIV>I realize some of you are planning to come down to the Tangerine pattern contest on Friday Dec 7, 2007 to practice; however, years ago, some of you may recall Tangerine pattern was held during the week, Monday through Friday for any of three days, Saturday and Sunday included. <BR>I have received positive replies from as far north as Connecticut and west as far as Arizona and from Ga.</DIV>
<DIV>I now ask for your support by replying to this posting if you would consider to participate in this event. <BR><BR>Please advise as I would like to go to the RCACF Board of Directors to get approval and apply for the AMA Sanction. Once we get the approval from the Board of Directors, we will go the SPA and list the contest. <BR><BR>Thank you for your patience for reading the entire posting</DIV>
