<div>District points and such are District issues. Contact Emory and Lamar. As I recall the D3 points system we didn't have any provision for such a situation. I believe your friend would keep his points and if he still comes out on top after the D3 Champs, he wins. As I recall, the District Champs were worth 1.5X for ranking, so he could be losing a lot of points if he moves up now.</div>

He was told that if he moves up for this last contest he will lose all his points in Sportsman. Is there a rule that states when you move up a class at some point during the year (before the end of the year) you lose all the years points previous to the contest flown? It's the last contest of the year so he could fly Sportsman, but he doesn't really want to. I don't want him to lose his Sportsman points that he's earned all year just for one contest, but he wants the extra cha
