Actually, the AMA is supposed to pay some costs incurred by judges in a Team Selection year. That was indeed true in 2003 and in previous years when the TS was a separate contest than a National tournament. However, starting with 2004's TS tournament (and probably including this year's), the NSRCA decided to hold the TS concurrently with the F3A Nats. I was in favor of it for a bunch of reasons and voted for it.

Instead, AMA collected all such funds and deposited them in the FAI kitty which supported all the teams. So be it!!<br>

We know that Advanced is suppose to prepare you for Masters, what if the advanced at the NATS took a similar route to what the masters does; meaning that the top 8 guys in masters get to fly in a 4 round final. What if advanced had a 3 round final, and the best score was carried over from the previous 4 rounds.
