<DIV>I thought about that but its not really true <EM>in my case</EM>. 20 ounces
of glow fuel <EM>weighs</EM> about 17.5 ounces (I just checked). That would make
the Prestige weigh 10.6 lbs with a full tank. Of course burning 9 ounces of
fuel during the contest flight drops the weight 8 ounces to 10.1
pounds. That makes the average flight weight 10.35 pounds, lighter by 11.5
ounces than 11 pounds.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><EM>Except</EM>, that at most contests, I only put in 14 ounces of
fuel. Unless it is windy then I use the full tank but probably will not have to
do that with the Prestige as it handles wind, so far, very well. So my all-up
contest T/O weight is 10.25 pounds and my average flight weight is well
under 10 lbs. That gives me a full pound advantage over an electric. Once I
remove the 4 ounces of nose weight today, my all-up contest T/O weight will be
10 pounds or 1 pound lighter than the e-power version, landing
weight will be 9.5 pounds and the average flight weight will be about 9.75
pounds. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>That translates into a lot of reserve power to make up for my mistakes,
usually needing too much rudder to fix a bad vertical climb, or when
needing 20 degree deflection climbs for wind correction. I have lots of e-power
aircraft and enjoy them, but for now, I am going to stick with my statement that
I am happy I made <EM>this</EM> Prestige a glow ship.</DIV>
