<DIV><FONT size=2>Here is my procedure. I have been running O.S.160FX's for

<DIV><FONT size=2> 5 years now and never had to flip the airplane over to
start an inverted</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>engine.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>For the first start of the day remove the glow-plug. Use your
starter to turn</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>the engine over </FONT><FONT size=2>for about 3 seconds to get
rid of all the extra oil that has </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>accumulated in the </FONT><FONT size=2>engine. A</FONT><FONT
size=2>t the same time you are actually priming the </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>engine. Put your glow-plug </FONT><FONT size=2>back in and
attach your glow driver. Turn the </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>engine over by hand and </FONT><FONT size=2>when you feel it
kick, it is ready to start. Flip to </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>prop backwards and </FONT><FONT size=2>the engine should
start. This method is only for the </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>first time of the day.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Consecutive starts will be just to connect the glow driver and
flip the prop</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>backwards.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>This works for me.</FONT></DIV>
