<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I ran the same Perry pump for 5 years total on two
different airplanes and had no problems. I used the plastic mount it came
with and put a thin layer of dense foam between the pump and mounting
bracket (this helps to keep it from sliding out of the bracket). Once the
pump was set the only thing I ever changed was the high end needle and that was
very seldom. Keep the pump as close to the engine as possible.

<P>I'm just about to finish my second Black Magic and I'm going to try the OS
1.60 for power. I've looked over the 1.60 cookbook that was in the K
factor. My question is how are you guys mounting the perry pump in the
airplane. The pump came with a mounting bracket, but I'm not confident
that it'll hold up to the vibration for long. Any help is much
appreciated.</P>
