judge all of the elements in this hypothetical 1.25 second 4-point roll, then
how DO you judge all the elements in a snap roll? I've never seen a "slow" snap
roll. Just wondering. :)

Easy to judge....like a snap? A fast or slow
demonstration is not a cause for downgrade unless it gets to the point where
you really can't see the elements because its so fast. Slight
variations, or even large variations from pilot to pilot, as long as all the
elements are detectable are OK.

Randy,

You as the Judge must not guess whether something happened or did not.
The pilot should produce a maneuver that is easy to judge. If he fails to
show you what is needed, and you are not sure that he did show you, then
it's your responsibility to downgrade.

our favorite list questions.

This comes from a real life judging
problem. The question is about the 4-point roll. This what I am
seeing. A 4 point roll that takes less than 1.25 second to
complete. You can see 4 very short pauses. The manever appears
to be centered. I see no change in height or coming in or out.
It appears to be between 150M and 175M. But the pauses are so short
that I cannot really tell if the rolls between pauses are 90 degrees.
So I cannot see what the 1 point per 15 degree down grade should
be.

What would you
