<DIV>IMHO there doesn't seem to be a lot of transmitters out there that have the
neck strap attachment eye in the proper place for comfortable balance. That's
why many of us fabricate an extension to move the C.G. to the correct location.
Not all that hard to do, but it sure points up shoddy engineering practices on
the part of the design department.</DIV>
<DIV>The Futaba 8U wasn't bad, but when they went to the 9C they lost it. My JR
ain't that great and I know Dave L. uses an exension on his. A Tray probably
helps some with the problem.</DIV>

couldn't you just make a plastic ring/sleeve that would snap over the tip of
the fully collapsed 9Z antenna and slide the Spectrum into that
ring/sleeve. That way, the original configuration is not disturbed at

from the neckstrap. To me it seemed very 'bottom heavy' without the
normal antenna somewhat counter balancing it. Some may choose to leave the old

antenna attach on the Futaba module? The pictures that I have seen show a
wire leading to a rubber ducky type of antenna and I don't see how this
connects to a Futaba 9Z unless there is some sort of external
