T-Tail looks kind of like
a porcupine…and then I believe it has delta strakes on the lower part

the aft fuse. It was a 1900 C converted to an airliner by raising the
cabin

Matt K. and said to him that the vertical part of the flow straightener
(translation
for canaliser) was not really necessary. I said that the basic purpose
is to
make the airflow track down the length of the tailcone, rather than
spilling
around the top, as the plane is yawed. That improves both pitching
behavior and
knife edge power. When I get the needed weather, I will hang a little
straightener on the Funtana to see what happens to its strong push to
the belly
in K.E. What about chine strips? I'll have to try that, as they could
be less
ugly, and even add structural stiffness.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
