need to leave the retracts down, as they are not allowed. This is the only thing
I have against the rules of an otherwise excellent organization. If the aircraft
were flown in a certain configuration "in their day", that is how they should be
allowed in the rules. I am still in hope of working with some interested parties
here in the Central US (I'm in Kansas) to get an SPA chapter started here. I do
think it has a lot to offer the pattern community, and as stated above, a great
organization with a great bunch of guys at the helm.</FONT></DIV>
