was too tail heavy, excessive control throws or just too windy. It
wanted to stall easily so it seemed, and cart wheeled on landing, tearing the
wings off. It sat under my building table until recently. I
decided to repair it and converted it to plug in wings. Not much else
was damaged. I had brought it out to the field three times only to find
a strong cross wind and elected not to fly it. Today I brought it out to
the field and there was a gale blowing but at least it was down the
runway. Why is it always calm at my house but blowing at the
field?<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

around 90 degrees at a time. Sort of fun. Today I let it go (hand

the foam from an inch in front of the wing </SPAN></FONT><FONT face=Wingdings

waiting to see if the quiet storm would be better behaved than the fist ill

Landing was not bad and it didn’t touch down hard but pulled a gear out.
Just split the plywood from the center lamination in the shape of the gear
leg. Not that I would have flown it again today
