It is designed for all uses, not just foamies. I haven't flown it yet, but expect to over Christmas. One big deterrent for me is the fact that it doesn't have a throttle curve in airplane mode. I looked at using heli mode which does have throttle curves, but there are only a couple of mixes available, and neither includes trim.
