<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Amram, I would agree that the DEPS system is indeed
a good system, however, I don't think it's particularly necessary. I've done
both DEPS and stab servos each with very good results (as long as you have good
servos in the stab). I used the micro JR digital DS3421sa servos.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Some would argue that the DEPS design has more
precise movement between the elevator halves, I can't argue with this, but many
top fliers are competing and winning with the dual stab servos and I personally
have had no complaint about this setup.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Vince is correct, you do have to be careful to
make sure the plane isn't tail heavy with servos in the stab, but if the plane
was designed for this it will probably be OK.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>To me the biggest benefit to the stab servos is
they are much easier to install. If effort is not a factor the DEPS system is
theoretically more accurate, if you're looking for an easier install go with the
stab servos.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>I used the DEPS system in two planes with very good results. You
will need to consider CG. With the DEPS system the chances of being tail
heavy are less. This happen in one of the planes and I retrofitted the
plane from 2 servos in the tail to DEPS system to fix the "tail heavy"
problem.</DIV>
