<DIV>In the picture I see that you use long servo arm. Looks like the ratio in your linkage is very close to 1:1. I could be wrong because the angle in the picture. In my pattern planes, I usually finish with a ratio of 1:3. That means that if the horn (distance to the hinge line) is 1.5 inches, I use 1/2 inch servo arm. Usually the servo arms that come in the servo works well for me. One time I tried to set up with a ratio one to one and the plane was practically unflyable for precision. I use for elevator high rate (spins) about 20 degrees having the radio rate set 150% (60 degree of servo movement is converted to 20 degrees in the control surface). I use the flying modes to reduce the throws for normal fly to get around 8-10 degrees (around 65% in the flying mode).</DIV>
