appealing to the "local crowd"- if you are close enough to drive to the contest
the morning of and drive home at night afterwards. I think it is a
great way to spark interest locally. I have found someone to take over the
CD responsiblities from me at the CAPI next year so I may have some
flexibility. Perhaps we (you and I) could talk about doing something at
our club next year. Either a one day event or two one day events as Ron
suggests.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>I understand the 2 day commitment consideration-</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The one day contest concept gets re - raised every so often,</DIV>
<DIV>and has it's pro's and con's. I think there is room for the one day
contest.</DIV>
<DIV>And try to emblish it by an optional clinic, judging seminar, or whatever
</DIV>
<DIV>on the other day. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>How about two, one day contests at same field, same weekend?</DIV>
<DIV>That was done at Lakehurst years ago, quite successfully.</DIV>
