I agree that it is a Modeltech Calypso which was a balsa and foam ARC.
As I recall, the wing panels come set up for taildragger retracts so
the landing gear in the picture looks like an addon. As to flying, it
was a great looping airplane but I could not get it to knife edge. I
know it got me in the bad habit of pulling the nose up for point rolls.
