When I finally found it, the vibration had worn a gap between the head and the case...I’ll need to replace both now. Tightening the bolt helped...but it’s still able to suck air because of the wear. <BR>

The “tell” was the same thing...black “gook” spewing on the side of the nose of the plane. Looked like it should be from the spinner or header, but wasn’t.<BR>
