front of the plane, over the prop arc ( so he thought ) to check the switch on the side of the fuse. Prop caught his arm a few inches below the elbow joint on the top of his arm. Engine was running at nearly wide open throttle, he is very lucky the damage wasn't worse. I see it all the time and the same folks are quick to point out all the scars they have from props.
