feature that you have is only used in Pylon-ish gliders, it's the climb and
glide, folding prop (maybe F4J) event. It shouldn't be on in our case cause it
does nothing but stop the prop, doesn't give any braking effect. I use the cut
on approach (no brake) just so I didn't ding the prop, which didn't always
work anyway.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

on BEFORE connecting the batteries and powering on. This allowed me to
always have the same start-up and cut every flight. If you keep plugging in and
turning on without bringing your idle down, eventually you will run out of

a throttle cut switch on both comp and non-comp (non is just for landing) so I
don't have to adjust the trim after I set my idle. The Brake should only be
set if you are going to do some glide racing and don't want the prop to
windmill. It's unnecessary wear and tear on the gearbox. Let it
freewheel.</SPAN></FONT><o:p></o:p></P></DIV>

on my Hacker C50 / 90 Acro controller (non comp model) I noticed that
if you idle real low and then bring the trim down a click or two and allow
the motor to come to a stop that you can not start it again unless you bring
the trim all the way down. I am guessing that it has to see the
initialization point again. In normal flight the prop will free wheel
and this would probably not occur but if the brake is on and the prop stops
you can not restart it unless you play with the trim as above with the
throttle fully down.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
