respond to some of the other things being said re. how to tell if a snap is a
snap and how to judge a real one. The fewer snaps in the schedule,
the better, because there seems to be too much confusion over what a real snap
is. BTW, a good snap actually doesn't involve all that many G's. One
you get the wing stalled and have a true autorotation going, things settle down
alot in the G department. Bent wing tubes etc are generally signs that a
snap never actually happened or at the very least, it developed too slowly and
allowed excessive G's to be developed by the unstalled wing before it did
finally stall (too little throw, too slow on the elevator etc).</FONT></DIV>

quite possibly the worst maneuver for pattern aircraft because they’re simply
not designed to do them. The rules are also against you getting a good snap,
as a downgrade for displacement of line is just not realistic. There is going
to be displacement during the act of getting the wing
