<br>ASAP. He made a nice touchdown on the grass, and<br>except for the bent wing it looked ok. We were so<br>focused on helping the Extra get down safely we did<br>not notice the other pilot, also fearing damage, was<br>on a landing approach. As fate would have it, his
<br>approach was the same and the Funtana whacked the<br>small Extra again to really finished the job and put<br>it out of its misery. Unbelievable, our field is a<br>400' square, it would be hard to hit something on<br>purpose.
