<P>An alternate method is to put it on the test stand and make the first run or so gooey rich, cool completely after each run, then lean it a little each run over the next 4-5 runs, until it's a couple hundred rpm short of full power. Then fly that way for the rest of the first gallon. </P>
<P>I've found the low end will want to be closed / leaned out when the engine comes off the test stand and goes inverted into the plane.</P>
<P>And of course, have the OS-brand 140EFI rear bearing ready to install when the stock one gives it up in 50-150 runs. <BR><BR></P>

About every 30-45 seconds, lean it until it goes to max RPM, and not ANY further. Let it run this way for about 5 seconds, and richen it back up. Cycle it this way for about 7 minutes. Shut down the engine, let it cool again.</FONT></DIV>
