<DIV>Eddie, here's what I found:</DIV>
<DIV>1-Both ailerons were warped as though they were built on the same jig; no right or left. Easy fix with a monokote iron</DIV>
<DIV>2-One wing panel was warped and again easy fix with an iron</DIV>
<DIV>3-Elevator a bit too flimsy but I used it as is. Just flattened it out with the same iron. Single servo driving it (installed in the tail)</DIV>
<DIV>4-Rudder servo also installed in tail</DIV>
<DIV>5-Using the A30-16M Hacker and 3s TP 2100. Same set-up I used in my small pattern foam-wood Hybrid. 12x6 E apc</DIV>
<DIV>6- Battery as far forward as possible; it balances at 4" aft of LE</DIV>
<DIV>7- All up weight is 32.1 ozs. The double and triple coat of covering could be redone to save an ounce but why bother. At a wing loading of around 14 ozs per sq ft it flies about right if not a bit lightly. But make no mistake about it flying like a 2m plane. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Overall impression is favorable; laser CNC cutting of the wood parts is a wonderful thing for parts-fit. I would love to see a builder's kit available. The arfie goes together at lightening speed.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I placed very little faith in the factory recommendations on nearly everything. I figured these guys are probably not pattern fliers so what's the point? </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>regards,</DIV>

I don't like the stock elevator setup. Could I<BR>split the elevator halves with 2 servos. I don't like the stock instructions<BR>to cut the fuse rear for installation of stab/elevator and I hope to<BR>eliminate that step.<BR><BR>How is the weight with the 480 setup. I'm wondering if an extra servo on<BR>elevator would balance out ok, not be too heavy overall, and not be too much<BR>load on the BEC. After all with p-p rudder the extra hole is already in the<BR>fuse for 2 elevator servos. Yeah I know it is intended as an optional rudder<BR>servo location, just wondering could 5 servos work.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance for any input/advice<BR>I've got a lot to learn.<BR>Eddie</FONT></BLOCKQUOTE></DIV>
