to solder aluminum but when I do it is an electronics application and would be
rosin flux. ALL of the commercial Aluminum solders I have seen use very

regular solder. The problem is an oxide lay forms very quicky on aluminum. If
you mechanically rub the solder blob with the soldering iron through the blob
to scrape away the oxide layer while it is immersed in solder it will work

over the hole, try cutting a small patch out of a soda can and lap-solder
that over the hole. Of course, you need the special aluminum solder,
called "alum-alloy" or something like

solder won't hold pressure. I thought about JB weld for aluminum,
