<DIV>Yes, I have a couple of dozen flights on my Showtime - OS 91FX, ES
pipe. Suprisingly good for running through the Masters pattern, though
it's not what I bought it for. I really have done nothing after the bench
setup other than adjust the trims from the TX and it's grooving pretty
well. I have to admit, I didn't expect alot and it surpassed expectations,
so I was giddy with what I ended up with for a small investment and little
effort. It needs some typical refinements for downline pulling, a little bit of
knife edge tuck etc, but it's respectable.</DIV>

<DIV>As for the 3D or "4D" stuff, it's A-OK in most respects, considering its
size. I think you will want to keep it light. I am happy with the
grunt from the OS 91 and pipe and it's nice and light. The ailerons are so
effective, it's just stupid. I mean, there's no way I could keep up at all
on full 3D rates. I ended up dialing down to about 40 deg deflection and can
just manage to stay with it in 3D rollers. Walls are good, blenders are
neat, knife edge is very good without the SFGs, just silly with them.
Harriers are reasonably well behaved, tumbles are
energetic. Pinwheels with the SFGS installed- dramatic for the first
3/4, then it rolls away on me. I will find a way to time it and catch it,
but so far, I have to pretend that I meant to come out at 270 and try to be
convincing by keeping it on its side as it flys away. High alpha KE with
the SFGs installed is really amusing, as are flat turns and knife edge
loops. You have this terrific rudder authority and yaw axis lift, with not
much coupling up to a point. But it's very draggy at high alpha yaw angles
and the bottom can drop out on you. It doesn't exactly snap away, it
really is more like a very authoritative roll that suddenly commences, but you
can get everything back with relaxed rudder, keeping the pitch angle reasonable
and not letting the airspeed dip dangerously low. Practice a few mistakes
high at first though.</DIV>

<DIV>It's a fun airplane, I recommend it.</DIV>
