This problem with Lipo's not taking the higher charge rate would seem to be the biggest factor why the batterie isn't stepping up to widespread uses in industry/Hybrid cars/consumer products. So if we are to get better battery solutions in the future it will probably come from a different technology than the current lithium offerings.
