position. It was my choice and </FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>I want
to apologize to the membership for not going full term, especially to those
people who voted for me a year ago. Also, thank you for all of the PM's and
kind words.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The goods news is that I completed most of
what I set out to do, especially last year. The even better news for me is
that I can now get back to concentrating on my role as the MA pattern columnist.
I can get back to encouraging the interest in our sport, our planes and the way
we develop and use technology.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am looking forward to simply being another
Nat's attendee, albeit as a reporter as well, (please know that I
love doing all of that stuff). I feel so much more free to write about
news and events without worrying if I am going to draw unanticipated fire for
crossing some unseen line that an NSRCA VP should not cross. I feel better
equipped and able to raise issues again. I have been given the freedom to
provoke thought and action to hopefully improve our pattern world.</FONT></DIV>
