class=500391804-22012006> Yeah a lot of guys up here in D1 run either the
OS 140 or the 160Fx. Both are good runners. My 160Fx ran great all of last
season except for one contest where I had some bad fuel. The 160 is a real good
low cost motor for pattern. It makes good power and it's real easy to tune. It's
not sensitive to pipe length, but you need to add a pump and that requires some
tuning. Not hard to do and once everything is set up it will run the same no
matter what. VERY reliable. The 140 is a bit more sensitive - more radical
timing etc. It is still very reliable and relatively easy to tune however. It
won't give you any headaches if you know how to set a needle and measure a pipe.
The bearings are the only weak point of these 2 engines, but if you get
some from Boca and put them in when the engine is new, you won't have any
worries for a long time. I used 2 stainless steel sealed bearings - front
and rear. My thinking was to keep the fuel completely out of the bearings.
So far it's been working and I know a few other people who have done this
with similar results. Some guys only change the rear bearing and while this is
probably all you need to do, I figured my idea was worth a try. Good luck

the second one to give me that advice, so I should have. There is no
going back now. As intrigued and impressed as I am with the Webra, I can
tell it is not for me. I need something that I can get going in a day,
and not fuss with it for a whole season. From what I hear the OS is

size=2>Update on the Webra that I am selling -- I just removed it from the
plane, took the header off, and peaked through the exhaust outlet.
Piston looks real clean as if it has never been run. Rest of the engine
looks the same. I put some after run in the crank.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
