Any idea when Don's proposal to align AMA with FAI judging criteria will pass the competition committee?

Derek is correct. The maneuver descriptions take precedent. Since this is the first time we are using the FAI sequences the descriptions were meant to be the same. Immediate reversal in the 3 of 4 reversed and the Humpty with reversed half rolls. At the moment the judging criteria still has its differences. Like no straight line between maneuvers.

This is true unless the maneuver description and downgrades specifically state that the roll reversal must be immediate - in the case of maneuver #6, the downgrades state that the roll reversal should be immediate, so there can't be a pause between the reversal from one 3/4 roll to the next 3/4 roll.

If I recall correctly, even though the 2024 sequence for Masters and P25 for FAI are essentially the same, they are not flown identical nor should be judged identical. Case in point regarding the ¾ point opposite roll maneuver. In AMA Masters, a pause is required at each point even if there is a change in roll direction. However, in FAI, there is no pause when changing roll direction. Can someone confirm or correct me on this?
