Wow, that’s horrible news.  We spoke frequently recently with all the hub bub about that team selection.  I knew that his cancer had returned, but was unaware that it was so dire.  Thank you for passing on the news, albeit sad to hear.   Please pass on the collective good wishes of all his pattern brethren.

For those of you that recognize the name in the subject line… Herb unfortunately passed away yesterday.  Herb was a staunch supporter of pattern and F3A and is the current chair of the F3A team selection committee.  He will be missed and I will miss one of my really good friends!
