Thanks Rick, I hope we provided insight in both flying and judging.

This format was a good fit for Don’s Judging seminar. At one point during the live program I saw 39 viewers watching. On average there were 30.
That’s pretty good exposure considering Dons seminars usually draw mostly local participants at his local flying field due to distances in travel for much of D2.
This allowed many to attend who otherwise would not be able to.

The added bonus for presenting these judging seminars with this format is you can have an expert panel join via ZOOM/Live Facebook. That would not be possible
for most any other judging seminar with the possible exception of having them at the Nat’s, but that will still limit your audience reach.

Much knowledge was passed along to more pattern enthusiasts than normally would have been possible … and that is good for pattern.

The only thing missing from this type of format is the real flying that can be observed at a flying field. Simulation and flying videos take the place of that.

Don Ramsey, Don Szczur, Nic, Braxton and Andrew were all very gracious in answering questions and sharing their vast knowledge of this sport and I felt very fortunate to
have attended it.

Special thanks goes to Andrew for his insight and sharing with us his experience in what it takes to perform at the level he does.

Many thanks to Tim Pritchett for keeping the program moving along and very organized, and also for his continued efforts in advancing RC Aviation Sports to the next level.

Pattern is very lucky to have these gentlemen in its ranks…

Sincerely
Rick Sweeney

Some were asking about this seminar since the D2 Culpepper Field Center was not available, The video location is on FB (link below).

Would like to thank Don Ramsey, Nic Burhans, Braxton Dudley, Andrew Jesky and of course Tim Pritchett for facilitating the session and broadcasting on Facebook.

There were something like 260 questions, answers and comments during the seminar.
