I am actually looking at the Ford Transit Connect Passenger Van. Not as big as a minivan, better mileage. Not pretty, but I cam use it to haul Pattern planes and relatives when the come visit.

I’ve been wondering about the model Y, whether it can fit one as easily as my MDX. (would love to replace the MDX with an electric, but Model X is too many $$) The rear sloping nature of the roof line could get tin the way.

I can get a 2 meter plane in my tesla model 3 but it’s tight... the model Y should fit it easy and the performance version is lots of fun. I have a cyber truck on order to haul planes and replace the F150

Hello pattern pilots,
After 196k miles my Sienna is worn out and after 18+ years of driving mini vans I am done with those too. Contests are rarely big travel weekends any more and I never bring more than one plane so the reduction in space shouldn't be an issue. Now looking at a Ford Flex or Volvo V60. Does anyone have any experience with either of these or a similar alternative?
Thanks,
Anthony
