I think alot of companies make money on shipping, they rip you off, I was trying to order radio south hinges and the cost of shipping was double the cost of the hinges, no way.

I just had an interesting transaction with CST (The Composite Store).  I bought 10 yards of glass cloth for $84.87.  On the checkout screen they showed a shipping charge of $10 with a note that the shipping could be more or less.  The transaction confirmation sent email showed the same.  When I got the bill it was for 107.75 and shipping was 22.88.  I checked Priority Mail from USPS and it showed 8.85.  They sent it UPS at the higher price with slower delivery.



If you plan on purchasing from CST be aware of their policy.
