You are correct. I never thought of that. Earl Haury saved me and the
system is now fully functional.

It's the battery failsafe. You must have linked the receiver at 7.4 v and
that's what was remembered. They you attached the powerbox at 5.9 v and the
receiver went to throttle fail safe. Q.E.D. :)9

Power box sensor switch probably has a built in safety that limits the
throttle signal. Just a wild guess.

I recently had a problem with my Futaba 18MZ system. Several days later
Earl Haury solved the mystery. Here's the problem:
* System worked fine with an unregulated 2S lipo into the receiver
* I put in a Powerbox Sensor switch, regulated to 5.9 v for the
receiver
* All functions except the throttle worked fine.
* Motor would arm but would not run
* Changed all components of the system, receiver, ESC, motor, etc but
nothing helped.
What is your solution to the mystery?
