Does anyone remember on the Jack Daniels tour they opened a little door on one of the stills and the splashing alcohol that you tasted was some crazy proof level of alcohol way more than 100% I don’t remember exactly but interesting.

Yep, great tour!  Does anyone recall that Lynchburg is a "dry" area, so Jack Daniels could not sell 

alcoholic  drinks at the picnic?    And so they gave them away!!

Correct.  We were picked up in a bus and taken over to Lynchburg for the tour.  Great tour and picnic following.  I still have a T-Shirt with all the attendees names on the back.
